I am an instructor with the Adirondack Photography Institute (API), leading nature photography workshops in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, and Finger Lakes regions of New York State. My Creative Vision workshops are not simply trophy-hunting expeditions, but rather an immersive experience that encourages artistic development through philosophies, photographic field work, and classroom instruction. My goal is to help you move beyond capturing and recording literal appearances. The focus is on developing both technical and creative skills to help you make personally expressive images that convey your thoughts, feelings, and personality. I strive to help you tap into your own unique vision and to create photos that are infused with something of your own mind and imagination.
